How much does a restaurant POS cost in the UAE?
The subscription price is only one line in a restaurant POS budget. A realistic UAE rollout also includes terminals, kitchen hardware, printers, local networking, migration, training, and any payment-processing costs that sit outside the POS subscription.

Start with total cost, not the headline monthly fee
Two POS systems can advertise similar monthly prices while producing very different rollout costs. One may require proprietary terminals or extra modules, while another may work with standard Windows hardware but require more configuration. The useful comparison is the cost of getting the restaurant operational and keeping it operational.

Hardware cost depends on what you already own
Reusing suitable hardware can materially change the first-year budget. RestoManage currently uses a Windows desktop POS/KDS model and standard ESC/POS-compatible printing rather than requiring a branded terminal contract. That does not mean every Windows device or ESC/POS printer is guaranteed to work identically, so exact models should be tested before a bulk purchase.

Migration cost is mostly a scope question
A clean single-location setup with a small menu is different from a multi-branch migration containing years of product, staff, inventory, and reporting history. Ask what the vendor will import, what must be rebuilt manually, who validates the result, and whether historical transactional data is actually required for go-live.
Questions to ask before comparing quotes
- Is the price per restaurant, per branch, per terminal, or per user?
- Which modules are included in the quoted plan and which cost extra?
- Are KDS screens included in software licensing or licensed separately?
- Does the quote include onboarding, data migration, and staff training?
- Can existing terminals and printers be reused after compatibility testing?
- What support is included and what creates an additional charge?
- Are card-processing fees controlled by the POS vendor or a separate payment provider?
- What does the second year cost after introductory or limited-time pricing ends?
